Free Password Protection
You can password protect your web pages without having access to a cgi-bin or .htaccess files. You're allowed an unlimited number of user name and password combinations.

I checked every script in this category and this is the best! It's the only one that hides the URL, is fast and easy-to-use!

This thing works great -- I've been wanting to set up a members area for my site for quite some time, and now I can. I like the fact that it hides my URL, too.
